I was lucky to stumble upon newsletters in 2018 because of the Morning Brew. I was obsessed with them and read tons of them. Fast forward to 2023, I created Exploding Niches and sold it. I started The Newsletter Life because it’s an obsession, and I think newsletters will be the biggest thing in the next ten years.
As A Blogger since early 2015, I have seen blogs’ power, which is always determined by your email list. Your blog will always have traffic if you have a strong email list. It’s one of the most important things to build when starting a business, so I’m going all in on this website. I have managed over 10 blogs in my lifetime and none of them excite me like this one.
I have seen things come and go, but email is one of the things that’s never going away. As people lose access to Instagram, Facebook, and others with millions of followers, they start to think, how can I keep my followers? Newsletters!
Companies like beehiiv have become big players in the space as the new hybrid blog/newsletter style. You no longer want an email list for your blog or YouTube. People are looking to become the next Morning Brew or The Hustler, who both sold a newsletter-based company for millions.
There is no telling where newsletters will be in 10 years but my guess is somewhere similar to how blogs have been for the past 10 and I’ll be ready.
